A Russian romance

Very excited to show an image from yesterday's wedding. My first Russian couple and ceremony. I love seeing the different traditions and rituals around the love of two people from other cultures around the world. Right in the middle of Dublin city I can step for a day into a typical wedding in Moscow.  Thank you Artur and Elena for the honour of documenting your special day in photographs. Congratulations and all the best for your future together! This is my favourite shot from the beach.

and here are some shots from the ceremony...

Text I just received from Artur...

"Thank you very much. the photos are beautiful. you sent so many. We are looking forward to getting them all, when they are ready :) We are very happy!!! :)))"

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. You can follow me on Facebook, Instagram and twitter too. :)

Mini wedding album for John and Xin's Civil ceremony

John and Xin had a beautiful ceremony at the Civil registry office in Dublin, then we all took a stroll along the canal to Merrion Square for a few pictures in the sun before partying the evening away at the Shelbourne Hotel.

I designed a mini album for them to keep their memories safe in a suede covered, hard cover 9x9inch book .

This is the book design, double page spreads.

As you can see, John and Xin are really lovely couple, so happy and in love. It was an honour to witness their special day and capture the memories for generations to come.

Thanks for looking,

Leah the ballerina in Dublin bay

I've been wanting to shoot Leah for a while now. She's a beautiful dancer and I've had this sea shot in my mind for forever. I knew she'd be perfect for it! I put together the ideas board that I shared with her on Pintrest and from the clothes she had I was able to buy fabric to match and create a skirt for the floating gown effect... I love how my mediocre seamstress abilities(...ok I used safety pins) worked out!! ;D

Here is some behind the scenes footage and some more shots from the shoot.

Big thanks to Marco for the fab hair and makeup. I love the crew at The Studio salon next door to me, they always do a wonderfully creative job and make everyone look and feel amazing!

Anita & Darrell engagement shoot - Dunlaoghaire Pier

Darrell and Anita flew home to Dublin from Canada for their big day. We had a warm up shoot at the pier in Dunlaoghaire and were lucky enough to get a great day and the rain held off until we were leaving. This was a lot of fun! Thanks guys! :) (click on the image to view the next picture in the gallery)
